my name is ricky star! i’m in my 4th year tattooing, working at Floating World Tattoo in South Philly. im queer and trans, and my pronouns are they/he. im mixed race - IndoTrinidadian and white. i have a background in bookmaking, painting and photography.

tattoos im interested in making are bold, ornate and decorative flowers. i also like stars, sparkles, anything celestial, as well as henna and trajva inspired. some things i am drawing inspiration from are South Asian textiles and patterns, tropical plants, book art, floral motifs, and henna designs.
